Pets Corner
We have lots of animals in our pet’s corner. Come and see them and you may get the chance to hold them, stroke them and feed them too!
Meet our Team
We have a dedicated team of people who love and care for our animals daily.
DAN
Daniel is the man behind the building work, he has designed and built all our enclosures and paddocks and does all our farm maintenance. His expertise designed our marmoset and meerkat enclosures from paper to real life. He is usually seen around the farm on a tractor or some of you may recognise him from Christmas 2021 with his grinchy antics.
AIMIE
Aimie joined the team from the opening and became our farm manager. She previously worked for many years as a veterinary nurse. You may well see her leading our VIP experiences and has an interest in horses and reptiles.
ELOUISE
Elouise is our youngest member of the team, she is Aimie’s daughter, who helps out on the farm around her busy school and horse-riding schedule. She loves showing and telling visitors all about the animals on the farm. And has a keen interest in invertebrates and has her own mousery.
SHELLY
Shelly has been part of the farm team since opening the farm. She came as part of her Equine college course at Rodbaston college. Her passion and love for animals blew us away. She leads our alpaca walks, birthday parties and loves dressing up for our event days. She has a special bond with Oakley the horse.
holly
Meet Holly, she is currently studying a Zoology degree at University. Her favourite animals are horses, cats, tarantulas, tortoises, and frogs. She has lots of pets of her own who always keep her very busy!
could this be you?
If you love animals and want to care for them, whilst also learning alot about their care. Maybe a job working down on our farm is for you. If you’re interested send us your CV and little about yourself to info@burntwoodalpacas.co.uk. Make sure the email subject line is “Work with Burntwood Alpacas”.
Here at the farm, we believe in sustainability, which is why we have our very own veggie patch. We grow a variety of fruit and vegetables that our animals just love to eat! Take a quick peek at our patch during your visit, and see if you can guess which animal likes what to eat!
